From 2 to 5 Oct 2015 during Paris fashion week, there were some trade shows. I am reporting PREMIER CLASSE, PARIS SUR MODE, DON’T BELIEVE IN THE HYPE, TRANOI FEMME, CAPSULE, WOMAN, ZIP ZONE, VENDOME LUXURY trade fairs.
WSN development, organizing WHO’S NEXT at Port de Versilles in Paris first session, held PARIS SUR MODE (around 100 apparel brands), DON’T BELIEVE IN THE HYPE ( cutting 18 brands ) and PREMIER CLASSE (around 390 fashion goods brands). Many participants of them claimed less visitors came to the tent area at Tuileries park.
THE BOX has changed its name into PREMIERE CLASSE Pavillon Cambon gathered around 90 brands. All the names of fairs Federation French pret-a-porter Feminine had launched, vanished at last.
Another hero, TRANOI FEMME with around 550 brands was located in 3 places as always. At Palais de la Bourse, participants on the ground floor were satisfied with the traffic, but it was likely lower on the upper floor.
Location at Carrousel du Louvre decided a brand’s fate as well. David Hadida, the head of TRANOI renamed the mezzanine in the atrium as UPCOMING TALENTS and made the concept more clear. ‘Trade show takes its role to incubate smaller brands till they fly’.
For the next TRANOI HOMME and PREVIEW, the venue will be at Cite de la Mode, known as the previous venue of CAPSULE, near Austerlitz station and Bource, because of the construction work of Louvre. TRANOI will focus on lifestyle products say perfume mainly at Cite de la Mode. For the the second session on next April, it is to be confirmed whether the venue at Montaigne will be used or not in addition to Bource, Cite de la Mode, Louvre.
WOMAN, recently beloved because of its cozy feelings, reached the ceiling in the number of about 90 participants. ’Important buyers came on the first day though previously those buyers came after visiting big trade shows, so it means WOMAN has been highly accepted’ , the organizer, Antoine Floch has spoken.
CAPSULE gathers around 120 brands from all over the world, though Chinese designers were stood out last time.
ZIP ZONE and VENDOME LUXURY have collected around 40 brands in each at the same venue as last time, but ME MY MODE founded by Mariel Gamboa, the founder of TRANOI, has been suspended this time.
Totally French buyers purchased less, Russia revamped, Korea and China keep each power. Regarding brands’ reputations, higher at TRANOI, as usual at PREMIER CLASSE, down at PARIS SUR MODE, WOMAN get ripen, CAPSULE at a low-altitude. We need to look intently how those shows will go according to TRANOI’s new steps.
