The second session of Parisian fashion trade shows started on 28 February and closed on 3 March. WSN Development which organizes 4 trade shows; PARIS SUR MODE, PREMIERE CLASSE, DON’T BELIEVE THE HYPE, THE BOX, announced there were 16,990 visitors in total (105% on the previous time).
Since other trade shows don’t announce the number of visitors, we report our observation below from interviews with exhibitors. CAPSULE, had changed the location from this time, restarted all right with its kind atmosphere. WOMAN also remained better because of the increasing exhibitors.
TRANOI located in 3 places still kept its distinct advantage over the rivals, competitive to WSN’s 4 trade shows.
Each of D&A and ME MY MODE insisted its original taste; Ethical / Sustainable and Organizer’s choice. VENDOME LUXURY gathered evening dress labels.
From WSN announcements; 61% of visitors were coming from abroad, 6,610 visitors (1% up) from France, 2,068 from Japan shares 20% of visitors abroad, 1,726 (2% up) from Italy, 890 from USA, 636 (13% up) from Germany, 562 (18% up) from Belgium, Asian visitors increased to be 121% on the previous time, 232 (12% up) from Korea, moreover 432 from China, Visitors from the Middle Easet(UAE, Lebanon etc) increased to be 120% on the previous time.
For conclusion, USA, the Middle East, Belgium and Germany were powerful. Japan and Italy stay purchasing much. Korea developed.
